Position SummaryThe Director of Emerging Markets is a senior operational leader responsible for scalingsmall, emerging, and high-potential staffing markets into profitable, high-performingoperations. This position reports directly to the Vice President of South Operations.This role is highly hands-on and field-based, requiring extensive travel (approximately 3weeks per month) across assigned markets. The Director partners closely with localleadership to strengthen operational foundations, accelerate growth, elevate leadershipcapability, deepen client relationships, and ensure disciplined execution of companystandards.This position blends growth leadership, market expansion strategy, and operationalexcellence and serves as a critical extension of executive leadership in developing andemerging markets.Geographic Scope & Travel Primary coverage states: Ohio, Arizona, Georgia, Indiana, Pennsylvania, and NorthCarolina Preferred home base: Atlanta, GA Travel expectation: Approximately 75% (3 weeks per month) Multi-center oversight with frequent on-site leadership presenceCore ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership & Execution Build scalable operating models that support rapid market growth Implement and reinforce standardized staffing best practices and company SOPs Drive execution excellence across recruiting, onboarding, compliance, retention, andredeployment Establish clear expectations, accountability, and follow-through at the center levelFinancial Performance & Growth Drive revenue growth, gross margin improvement, and labor efficiency Analyze P&Ls, dashboards, and operating metrics to identify trends and opportunities Partner with Finance and Executive Leadership on forecasting, budgeting, and expensemanagementLeadership Development Coach, mentor, and develop Center Managers, Staffing Supervisors, and recruiting teams Build leadership bench strength within emerging and growth markets Reinforce company culture, integrity, professionalism, and accountability standards Address performance issues swiftly, consistently, and constructivelyClient & Market Expansion Expand and deepen existing client partnerships through consistent on-site presence Support new account launches, expansions, and operational ramp-ups Partner with Business Development on market penetration and expansion strategies Serve as a senior escalation point for client concerns within assigned marketsSuccess Measures Scaled and profitable emerging markets Increased fill rates and reduced past-due orders Strong leadership ownership and accountability at the center level Improved client satisfaction, retention, and account growth Consistent execution of company standards across marketsRequired Qualifications 4-8+ years of leadership experience in the staffing industry Proven success in multi-site operations and growth environments Strong financial acumen with P&L ownership experience Demonstrated ability to lead and develop operational leaders Willingness and ability to travel extensivelyPreferred Qualifications Experience in warehouse, logistics, or high-volume staffing environments Experience opening or scaling new markets Previous experience in a high-travel, field-based leadership roleRole ImpactThe Director of Emerging Markets plays a critical role in the company's long-term growthstrategy by building scalable, disciplined, and profitable operations in developing markets.This is a field-based builder role designed for leaders who thrive on growth, execution, andmeasurable impact.#TJCDEM
