Job Title: Senior Benefits Partner Job Location: Atlanta, GA Job Type: Direct Hire Workplace Type: hybrid We are seeking a Senior Benefits Partner. This role is responsible for the design, administration, compliance, and continuous improvement of comprehensive health, welfare, and retirement programs supporting approximately 350 full-time employees. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in benefits administration with strong analytical capability, vendor management skills, and a passion for enhancing the employee experience through effective communication and process optimization. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field required. 5–7 years of direct experience administering health, welfare, and retirement benefit plans, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements related to employee benefits. Experience planning and executing annual enrollment processes. Project management experience required. Proficiency with Workday and benefits administration systems. Strong Excel and data analysis skills. Experience with benefits system plan setup and testing preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational ability. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Vendor management and negotiation experience. Strategic mindset with continuous improvement orientation. Commitment to confidentiality and ethical handling of sensitive information. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day administration of all employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability, employee assistance, and wellness programs. Manage administration of qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, including pension, 401(k), and deferred compensation plans. Partner with brokers, carriers, and third-party administrators to ensure high-quality service delivery, timely issue resolution, and cost-effective plan design. Plan, coordinate, and execute annual benefits enrollment and retiree update processes. Support legally required audits, filings, and compliance testing for health and retirement plans. Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, including ERISA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, FASB, SEC requirements, and Workers' Compensation regulations. Assist with preparation and maintenance of Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs) and Summaries of Material Modifications (SMMs). Develop and deliver clear, engaging benefit communications and educational initiatives to improve employee understanding, participation, and satisfaction. Support retirement plan administration activities including payroll file management, nondiscrimination testing, and compliance oversight. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline benefit administration, enrollment, and reporting functions. Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure data integrity in all benefits-related activities.
