This role will be responsible for assembling new equipment as well as rebuilding and repairing existing machinery. The position involves hands-on mechanical work, precision assembly, and the safe handling of heavy components in a shop environment.Roles and ResponsibilitiesDaily handling of heavy equipment, ensuring safe and efficient loading and unloading processesDisassembles machines for repair, diagnoses issues, and cleans parts preparing for reassemblyAssembles machines according to print requirements, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications to meet operational standardsMeasures parts accurately and records values on inspection reports to ensure quality and complianceEngages in various hands-on tasks as required by the job, maintaining a proactive and diligent approachAdhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your teamWorks effectively in a team environment, assisting coworkers with larger projects and ensuring collaborative successRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent, with 1-3 years of hands-on mechanical or assembly experienceStrong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new technologiesPrevious experience in equipment assembly, rebuilds, or heavy mechanical repair preferredProficiency with wrenches, prybars, high-pressure cleaning equipment, power tools, overhead cranes, and fork trucksAbility to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings and printsPhysically able to work in an industrial shop environment, including lifting and moving heavy parts (with or without assistance)Detail-oriented with the ability to take accurate measurements and complete inspection recordsStrong teamwork and communication skills with a commitment to safetyEqual Opportunity Statement: Komline is an EEO employer - M/F/Vets/Disabled
