Position : Supervisor Description : OpSource Direct has partnered with a manufacturer in Spartanburg, SC seeking a Tool & Die Supervisor.Schedule: Monday-Friday | Day Shift (5 x 8-hour days)Pay: $100k/yr.Department: Tool & DiePosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Tool & Die Supervisor to lead our day-shift toolroom operations in a high-volume stamping environment. This position is responsible for supervising hourly Tool & Die associates, planning daily work activities, ensuring preventive maintenance completion, and supporting production uptime. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong die maintenance experience who can balance technical expertise with team development and operational planning.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and lead hourly Tool & Die Makers and apprenticesPlan and prioritize daily die repairs and preventive maintenance workCoordinate with Production, Engineering, and Maintenance to support uptime goalsEnsure scheduled preventive maintenance is completed and documentedMonitor die performance and address recurring issuesMaintain accurate maintenance and repair recordsSupport die tryouts, engineering changes, and continuous improvement initiativesPromote and enforce a safe working environmentMaintain organized, efficient toolroom operations (5S standards)QualificationsRequiredJourneyman Tool & Die Maker certification or equivalent experienceMinimum 5 years of experience in stamping die maintenance and repairStrong knowledge of progressive and/or transfer diesBlueprint reading proficiencyExperience troubleshooting and repairing production diesPreferredPrevious leadership or supervisory experienceExperience working in a high-volume stamping facilityFamiliarity with CMMS systemsStrong planning and organizational skillsSkills & CompetenciesStrong leadership and team development abilitiesEffective communication skillsAbility to prioritize work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentProblem-solving and root cause analysis skillsAccountability and results-driven mindsetWork EnvironmentThis position operates within a manufacturing stamping facility and requires adherence to all safety and PPE requirements.What We OfferCompetitive salaryDay shift schedule (Monday-Friday)Stable manufacturing environmentOpportunity to lead and develop a skilled teamBenefits package including health, dental, vision, and retirement options Requirements : Job Type : Permanent Post Date : 02/20/2026
