Tier 3 City Manager Operations & Workforce Management Location: Hiram, GA (Greater Atlanta Area) Position Type: Contract (W-2) Level: Tier 3 Management Travel: 100% Required Around Atlanta, GA (Multiple local sites) Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Tier 3 City Manager to oversee daily operations, staffing, and performance across multiple locations in the Hiram / Greater Atlanta area. This role serves as a key leadership position responsible for managing Tier 1 and Tier 2 employees, ensuring operational excellence, maintaining staffing levels, and supporting client and internal leadership goals. This is a hands-on management role requiring strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will be comfortable hiring, coaching, and managing teams while maintaining accountability for attendance, productivity, training, and customer experience. Key Responsibilities Manage daily operations across multiple work sites and ensure smooth execution of services Interview, hire, onboard, train, and terminate employees as needed Ensure employees arrive on time, take scheduled breaks, and follow company policies Monitor performance, attendance, and productivity of Tier 1 and Tier 2 employees Conduct site visits and pop-in inspections across the greater Atlanta area Train new hires at new and existing locations and support ongoing employee development Ensure all orders, deadlines, and operational targets are met Oversee timesheet accuracy and approve payroll submissions Support recruiting efforts and workforce planning Serve as the primary escalation point for employee and operational issues Communicate regularly with senior leadership and provide status updates Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards Maintain a clean, professional, and customer-ready work environment Support and reinforce company culture, policies, and performance expectations Essential Skills & Qualifications Proven experience in a supervisory or management role Strong leadership and people-management skills Experience interviewing, hiring, coaching, and terminating employees Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills Comfortable working independently and making decisions Proficient with basic computer systems and reporting tools Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between sites Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays Physical & Work Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to lift and move packages as needed Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment Requirements Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Must pass background check and drug screening Must live within reasonable commuting distance of Hiram, GA Customer-facing or retail management experience strongly preferred Experience in logistics, operations, or workforce management is a plus - Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice. - Hire Aviation is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Recruiting Agency.
