The Host & Cashier is responsible for creating a smooth and positive guest experience by greeting guests, managing seating and processing payments efficiently.Duties:Sincerely greets and thanks each guest.Inform guests of hours/days of operation, all coupons and specials.Determine guest needs, provide information on seating status, take names and quote wait times accurately.Seats guests in the proper order of arrival.Accurate use of the dine-time seating system.Know all table numbers and the various sections of the restaurant.Accurate use of the POS system to close checks using a variety of payment methods.Balance a bank with a high level of accuracy.Completes all side work requirements.Continuously maintains a neat, clean, organized, safe, and comfortable environment for our guests and employees.
