Maintenance Manager

Description: The Maintenance Manager, will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the maintenance department in concerns with design, construction, modification and maintenance of equipment and machinery in both of our production facilities Located in Auburn Hills & Pontiac, MI. The Ideal candidate will be able to manage and delegate project responsibilities to a small team of Maintenance technicians. As well as jump in and help the team when necessary.Reports to: Plant ManagerDirect Reports: Sr. Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:Overseeing a multi-shift department of Maintenance TechniciansPerforming management and administrative tasks for the maintenance teamKeeping up to date with training for maintenance teamOversees the day-to-day operations of the maintenance departmentEvaluates and coordinates systems and facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely matterEnsures a safe work environment and adherence to company safety policiesCompletes purchase orders to ensure appropriate spare parts and tools are available for the maintenance team to successfully complete their jobOther responsibilities and duties include:Machine PM ScheduleHILO PM ScheduleProject Coordination & OversightSubcontractor ManagementNew Equipment InstallationAuxiliary Equipment development, installation & troubleshootingPLC Programming & DiagnosticsElectrical DiagnosticsMechanical DiagnosticsBuilding MaintenanceTroubleshooting EquipmentQualifications:Extensive Knowledge of facilities systemsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to identify issues and determine which repairs are neededStrong management, supervisory, and leadership skillsExcellent time management skillsISO 14001 and ISO9000 experienceStorm Water CertificationAbility to MultitaskAbility to Develop and Manage a small teamSkill in AutoCAD or similarSkill in ElectricalSkill in PLC ProgrammingSkill in PneumaticsSkill in HydraulicsStorm Water Certification
