Job Title: Field Engineer Intern - Summer 2026Location: Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW), TexasDuration: June 1, 2026 - July 30, 2026Schedule: Up to 40 hours per weekPosition OverviewWe are seeking motivated and driven students to join our Summer 2026 Field Engineer Internship Program in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This two-month program provides hands-on experience working alongside experienced construction professionals on active job sites. Interns will gain exposure to field operations, project coordination, scheduling, safety practices, and quality control within the heavy civil and urban infrastructure construction environment.This internship is designed to provide practical experience and insight into the responsibilities of a Field Engineer while supporting ongoing construction projects.Key Responsibilities• Assist Field Engineers and Project Managers with daily construction activities on active job sites• Support project documentation including RFIs, submittals, daily reports, and progress tracking• Participate in project meetings and assist with coordination between subcontractors and project teams• Help monitor work progress and ensure alignment with project plans and specifications• Assist with quantity tracking, material deliveries, and field measurements• Support safety initiatives and ensure compliance with company and project safety standardsQualifications• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field• Must be a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student by Summer 2026• Strong interest in Heavy Civil Construction, Water Resources, and Estimating • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required• Ability to work outdoors and visit active construction sitesWhat You Will Gain• Hands-on experience on active construction projects• Exposure to field engineering and project management responsibilities• Mentorship from experienced construction professionals• Opportunity to build industry connections and practical skills
