In addition to an online store, Rexel USA has a distribution network of over 460 warehouse storefront locations throughout the U.S.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Lighting Showroom Sales to join our Mayer team in Pelham,AL!Summary:The Lighting Showroom Sales is responsible for successfully promoting and selling residential and small commercial lighting products, as well as connected home lighting solutions.What You'll Do:Greet customers upon entering the lighting showroomCreate quotes for customers, ensuring an acceptable gross margin levelFollow-up with customers to secure orderConvert quotes to orders within customer expectationsEnter and bill orders in a timely mannerMonitor and cancel unsuccessful quotesProactively expedite orderEstablish and communicate material promise datesCoordinate with customer and internal resources regarding shipments/deliveryReview customer pricing regularly for accuracyIssue return ticketsParticipate in key supplier promotions from sales and marketingKeep customer contacts up to dateActively participate in and contribute to the company's Continuous Quality Improvement efforts.May participate in or assist with physical inventory preparation or processOther duties as assignedJob Duties Disclaimer:The information contained in this job description is intended to describe the essential job functions required of those assigned to this job.
