The position will plan, manage the development of environmental health policies and practices, implement policies, practices and manage the delivery of countywide strategic public health initiatives on behalf of the Department. This position will be responsible for providing administrative direction and lead the planning to address environmental justice issues along with climate health. Additionally, the position will provide technical advice to County representatives on environmental justice and climate health issues impacting the public's health.The position is needed to collaborate with regulatory agencies, municipal administrators, residents, community leaders, and industrial representatives during industrial releases where multi-agency efforts are required to restore communities from toxic environmental exposure events.
