Mordecai Historic Park and the Historic Raleigh Trolley has just the summer job for you! Duties and Responsibilities Work with Raleigh's historic sites to offer fun, educational programming to campers throughout the city. Camp Counselors will accompany elementary and middle school campers on daily field trips to various historic sites and museums with transportation by the Historic Raleigh Trolley. Camp Counselors will also lead history-based activities for campers. Field trip locations will include historic sites and museums in Raleigh and Wake County. Typical QualificationsInterested applicants must be reliable, able to relate to kids ages 9-13, and have some interest in Raleigh's history and cultural offerings. Applicants must be available to work a minimum of 4 days a week between the hours of 8:00am and 5:30pm. Additional InformationADA and Other Requirements: Positions in this class typically require balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, talking, seeing, and hearing.Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.Visual AcuityThe worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.Working Conditions: Workers are subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions and noise. Activities occur both inside and outside without protection from the weather. Workers are subject to extreme heat: Temperature above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour.
