Sitting amongst apartments and office buildings, we will serve both the public, and provide support to TCWGlobal by preparing meals (basic catering style) 3 times a week for 125+ employees. BoujieMana has it all-a full bar, VIP room, indoor and outdoor seating, and a training/event center with a capacity of 120 people. There is abundant nighttime and weekend parking, and while space is limited during office hours, there is still plenty of street parking. The price point will be on the higher end with the restaurant's commitment to utilizing quality ingredients and maintaining a curated menu for all three meals of the day.We are looking for a dedicated, organized Dishwasher to join our team at BoujieMana. The dishwasher's duties include washing and cleaning tableware, pots, pans, and other cooking equipment and preparation or production areas. They will restock items, sweep and scrub floors, empty and clean trash receptacles, and other duties as needed. The dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly work area. This individual should be a committed, communicative team player with excellent time management skills. They should be able to prioritize tasks in a busy setting and adhere to all food safety regulations and procedures.Follow us at /boujiemana and for more information and additional opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesPrimary:Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of BoujieManaWash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and other cooking equipment using dishwashers or by handKeep dishwasher clean and maintained, and immediately report any functional or mechanical problems to the Kitchen ManagerMonitor dishwasher water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycleMaintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning suppliesPlace clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areasMaintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchenHandle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and lossMaintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in a clean and orderly conditionClean food preparation and production areas as requiredSort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areasClean garbage cans with water or steamSweep and scrub floorsReceive and store suppliesStock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad barsTransfer supplies or equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucksAttend all scheduled employee meetings and offers suggestions for improvementCoordinate with, and assist, fellow employees to meet guests' needs and support the operation of the restaurantFill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operationsSupplemental:Prepare and package individual place settingsLoad and unload trucks that deliver or pick up food or suppliesSet up banquet tablesTools & Technology:Commercial use dishwashers, glasswashers, pot-washing machines, power washersDrying and draining racksSinksSoap dispensing brushWet mopsTrash compactorsHand trucks, Lifts, or accessoriesHandheld thermometers, remote reading thermometersQualifications & SkillsPrevious work experience as a Dishwasher is a plusValid Food Handler's CardAttention to detail and sanitation rulesAvailability to work nights, weekends, and holidaysHands-on experience with industrial washing machinesAbility to follow instructions and help with various tasks, as neededExceptional time management skillsStrong problem-solving and communication skillsPhysical ability and stamina to stand and walk for long hoursBoujieMana is an equal-opportunity employer.
