Job DescriptionA mission-driven higher education institution in Boston is seeking a Senior Director of Employee Experience to lead all human resources functions for the organization. This role will serve as the primary HR leader and partner closely with executive leadership to support recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, and HR compliance.This position is ideal for an experienced HR professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and playing a key role in shaping the employee experience across an organization.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and complianceServe as a strategic HR partner to executive leadership, including the President and CFOOversee compensation and benefits administration and support employee benefits programsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulationsManage employee performance processes and support leadership with coaching and guidanceSupport employee engagement initiatives and help foster a positive workplace cultureMaintain HR systems and employee records while ensuring accuracy and confidentialityPartner with leadership on HR policies, procedures, and organizational initiativesQualifications5+ years of human resources experienceExperience working in nonprofit or higher education environments preferredExperience with Paylocity or similar HRIS systems preferredStrong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance requirementsExcellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently while partnering closely with senior leadershipIf you are interested in this role send me an email at emily.clough@
