Ditmas Park Nursing & Rehab - Community Healthcare Marketing Representative Overview: The Community Healthcare Marketing Representative plays a pivotal role in connecting with sources for census and promoting the company's services to clients and their families. This position demands a dynamic individual with high energy, creativity, and a goal-oriented mindset. The successful candidate will excel in identifying, engaging, and nurturing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Bring viable patient referrals to the agency. Develop new referral sources within the community. Strengthen relationships with new and existing referral sources through daily visits to various organizations, physician offices, hospitals, assisted living facilities, and adult daycares to provide education and information. Pre-plan weekly marketing activities and ensure follow-through. Coordinate events and act as a community liaison by participating in health fairs, awareness days, and similar events. Qualifications: Minimum of two years of marketing and sales experience. At least one year of experience in community healthcare, home care marketing, or a related field is highly preferred. Ability to effectively serve low-income, disadvantaged, and hard-to-reach populations. Highly motivated with a demonstrated ability to drive census and meet sales expectations. Proficiency in standard office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Zoom) and CRM systems. Excellent customer relations, communication, and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities: Successfully connect with sources for census and promote the company's services. Implement marketing strategies to achieve or exceed growth targets outlined in the marketing plan. Develop and execute marketing campaigns utilizing various channels including cold calls, mass mail, online marketing, print media, and community events. Participate in and coordinate community events such as tabling events, health fairs, and community forums. Manage existing referrals and cultivate new relationships with healthcare facilities, senior centers, service coordination companies, and physicians. Conduct community presentations and outreach activities to engage seniors and disabled individuals. Maintain thorough documentation of program activities and assist in tracking data related to community referrals. Collaborate closely with admissions coordinators and collect data to enhance business development efforts. Participate in regular meetings, training sessions, and coaching sessions to provide feedback and obtain guidance. Identify appropriate consumers for dialysis services through internal and external resources. Assist clients and families in identifying unmet needs and service gaps.
