Maintenance Supervisor

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions):This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may expand to include other duties and responsibilities based on business need. Maintenance related repairs in the areas of carpentry, plumbing, appliance, electrical, painting, installation of windows, drywall repairs, and other typical apartment repairs Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of maintenance, janitorial, and grounds staffAssist the Property Manager to create and maintain community residents are proud to call homeTroubleshoot and respond to a wide variety of residential service requests in a timely and professional mannerMonitor vendor performance and complianceAssist in the development of budgetsInitiate maintenance purchases and negotiate best pricingMaintain inventory levels of parts and equipmentCoordinate preventative maintenance schedules and control expensesSupervise and inspect make-ready units and turnover process in accordance with company guidelinesMonitor maintenance operating procedures and performance standardsAct as a liaison for Property Manager and/or Area Manager with respect to resident complaintsCoordinate and respond to after-hours emergency response Requirements:Experience working at an apartment community in the maintenance fieldDependability and reliability in following through with responsibilities Maintain a valid state driver's license.Dedication to exceeding the needs of all customers with an ability to build and maintain relationshipsDemonstrate thoroughness, self-motivation, and organization when accomplishing tasksRequired to adhere to the dress code as established by management, use protective equipment when necessary, and follow safety proceduresMust be available for snow removal if applicable at locationMcCormack Baron is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer.
