Job SummaryThe purpose of this position is to ensure the safety and security of the university's campus and its students, faculty, and staff. This includes patrolling the campus, responding to alarms and emergency calls, monitoring access to buildings, enforcing parking regulations, and reporting suspicious activity. IV. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMonitors campus grounds to ensure safety and security of personnel and facilitiesPerforms routine patrols of campus buildings, parking lots, and other areasResponds to emergency calls and provides assistance to personnel in needProvides escorts to students, faculty and staff as requestedInvestigates incidents and reports findings to the appropriate authoritiesEnforces campus policies and proceduresMonitors access to campus buildingsAssists visitors with directions and inquiriesMaintains accurate records of security activitiesOther duties as assignedV.
