Our clients choose us when complexity demands expertise, and when the stakes are too high for generic execution.The Project Manager is an experienced leader responsible for managing complex, high-value eCommerce projects while mentoring junior PMs and contributing to practice improvements. This role drives delivery excellence across multiple concurrent projects, often involving enterprise clients with sophisticated requirements. Beyond project execution, the PM serves as a trusted advisor to clients, influences delivery methodology, and takes ownership of portfolio-level challenges. They balance hands-on project leadership with people development, process optimization, and strategic client relationship management.ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership & DeliveryLeads complex, multi-workstream projects with enterprise clients, managing dependencies across technical, creative, and business teamsOwns end-to-end delivery for high-value engagements, ensuring on-time, on-budget execution while maintaining quality standardsManages multiple concurrent projects, balancing priorities and resources across portfolioDrives proactive risk management, identifying issues before they become blockers and implementing mitigation strategiesLeads change management processes, negotiating scope changes and managing client expectations on budget and timeline impactsEnsures business objectives, KPIs, and success metrics are defined, tracked, and achievedOwns project roadmap build and execution. Client & Stakeholder ManagementServes as primary point of contact for enterprise client stakeholders, building trusted advisor relationshipsFacilitates executive-level conversations, translating technical complexity into business valueManages difficult conversations with tact and diplomacy, de-escalating issues and maintaining client confidenceProactively identifies opportunities for account growth and expansionTeam Leadership & MentorshipMentors and coaches Project Managers and Associate PMs on methodology, client management, and delivery best practicesProvides guidance on complex project challenges and escalationsConducts project retrospectives and captures lessons learned to improve team performanceParticipates in hiring and onboarding of new project management team membersProcess & Practice DevelopmentIdentifies and implements process improvements to increase delivery efficiency and qualityContributes to PM practice development, including templates, playbooks, and standardsShares knowledge across teams through documentation, training, and peer learning sessionsCollaborates with Program Director on resource planning and capacity managementFinancial ManagementOwns P&L for assigned projects, monitoring budget utilization, profitability, and forecastingManages change requests with clear financial impact analysisEnsures accurate time tracking and resource allocation to maximize billabilityRequirementsBachelor's degree in a business-related field such as Business Administration, Management, Information Systems, Marketing5+ years experience in a project management role in the technology/digital spaceDemonstrated experience managing enterprise clients and complex stakeholder environmentsProven leadership, relationship-building, and executive presenceExperience mentoring and developing junior team membersAdvanced budget and financial management including P&L ownership and earned value managementTrack record of managing high-value client relationships and driving account growthAbility to manage ambiguity, work under pressure, and meet aggressive deadlinesExcellent problem-solving skills with ability to think strategically and execute tacticallyOutstanding communication skills across all levels (written, verbal, presentation, executive briefings)Strong coaching, mentoring, conflict resolution, and negotiation abilitiesDemonstrated ability to influence without authority and drive change across organizationsSkillsExperience working at a professional services company such as a marketing agency or consulting firmProven track record managing complex, enterprise-level web development projects ($500K+)Deep experience in the eCommerce industry with Shopify Plus platform expertisePMP, CSPO, or equivalent certificationAdvanced proficiency with Asana, Jira, or similar project management toolsExpert knowledge of Scrum, Agile, and hybrid delivery methodologiesStrong understanding of eCommerce industry standards, best practices, and emerging trendsExperience with resource management and capacity planning The duties and responsibilities described here are not a comprehensive list and the scope of the job may change as necessitated by business demands.
