Duties & Responsibilities:Prepares construction cost estimates by doing takeoffs and analyzing all costs associated with the work.Obtains quotes from vendors and subcontractors and ensures that scopes and qualifications meet project needs.Attends meetings and speaks with customers, professionals, suppliers and team members.Field measure and take core samples on existing buildings.Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.Maintains quality service by following organization standards.Maintains continuity among corporate, division, and local work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.Research upcoming projects Track bid volumes for reportingOther duties as assigned Qualifications: Associates degree or equivalent experience1- 3 years of construction estimating experienceProficient in all Microsoft Office applicationsStrong organizational, prioritization, and time management skillsExcellent communication skillsBenefits:Competitive SalaryMedical, Dental and Vision InsuranceDisability (Short and Long Term Disability)Life Insurance401(k)Paid Time OffEqual Opportunity Employer, including disabled and veterans.
