This is an enterprise-wide role supporting the Building Materials and Building Envelope businesses.The role is designed as an entry-level COE position with meaningful responsibility and exposure to complex procurement, supply chain, and technology-enabled contracting matters. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience reviewing and negotiating IT-related procurement and commercial contracts, either from a law firm commercial/technology practice or an in-house legal role.This position will work closely with Procurement and Supply Chain, IT, Finance, Compliance, and business stakeholders and will play a key role in supporting scalable, consistent legal support across the enterprise.WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISHReview, draft, and negotiate a wide range of procurement-related agreements, with a particular focus on IT and technology-enabled contracts, including:SaaS and software license agreementsMaster services agreements (MSAs) and statements of work (SOWs)Cloud services, data, cybersecurity, and technology support agreementsProfessional services and consulting agreementsSupport broader procurement and supply chain contracting, including:Vendor and supplier agreementsLogistics, transportation, and services contractsFramework agreements, purchase terms, and amendmentsPartner with Procurement and IT teams to:Identify and mitigate legal and commercial riskEnsure alignment with internal policies, delegation of authority, and contracting standardsSupport rollout and adoption of standard templates and playbooksAssist in the development and maintenance of COE tools, including:Contract templates and fallback positionsClause libraries and negotiation guidanceIntake and escalation frameworksProvide practical, business-focused legal advice on issues such as:Data protection and information security provisionsIP ownership and licensingLiability, indemnities, and risk allocationContract governance and contract lifecycle managementCoordinate with senior attorneys and external counsel as needed on more complex or higher-risk matters.Performs other duties as assigned.Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOREducation: J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdictionRequired Work Experience: 5-8 years of post-law school experience, gained at:A law firm with a commercial, technology, or procurement-focused practice, and/orAn in-house legal department supporting commercial or IT contractingAdditional Requirements:Demonstrated experience reviewing and negotiating IT-related procurement contracts, including SaaS, software, and technology services agreements.Strong drafting and issue-spotting skills, with the ability to translate legal risk into practical business guidance.Comfort working in a matrixed, enterprise environment and managing multiple stakeholders.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a high volume of matters efficiently.Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
