Some evening, weekend, and holiday shifts are required.Essential Functions Act as Manager on Duty in the manager's absence Recruit & train store personnel Oversee employees during shifts Occasionally create employee schedules Assist with inventory & placing product orders Maintain exceptional customer service Create a positive work environment for all team members Coach and counsel employees as needed Maintain site appearance, cleanliness, and sanitation standards Create and submit daily reports as needed Implement and maintain safety procedures Control all cash and merchandise inventories Ensure full compliance with applicable laws, policies, and regulations Perform opening and closing duties as needed Other duties as requiredBasic Qualifications & Physical Requirements 18+ years of age 1+ years in restaurant management preferred Authorized to work in the United States ServSafe or Foodservice Manager Certification preferred Valid Driver License and reliable transportation Safely lift 55 lbs. and carry short distances Stand and walk for 8+ consecutive hours Climb a step stool, reach with arms above head, grasp with hands, crouch and stoop Able to work for short periods in cold temperatures, such as when stocking freezers Accurately select options from a cash register and touch-screen monitor Communicate effectively in English (hear, speak, read, and write) Accurately take payment and count change Count and weigh product; calculate basic math Basic computer proficiency Must pass a pre-employment drug screenThis is a Drug Free Workplace.Dairy Queen 8402
