Due to exciting expansion, they are looking to bring on an experienced Operations Manager to oversee all functions within their machining department - apply today!Job DescriptionDevelop, maintain, and implement quality assurance objectives aligned with organizational goals.Communicate and reinforce quality philosophies and best practices to teams across the organization.Review design and engineering documentation to ensure compliance with internal, customer, and regulatory requirements.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant industry quality codes, standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., AS9100, FAA, EASA), and provide training across the company.Serve as a certified internal auditor and ensure ongoing compliance with quality management system requirements.Support organizational adherence to AS9100 and FAA quality standards, including identifying gaps and developing action plans.Participate as a key member of the Material Review Board (MRB) and drive material disposition decisions.Lead and support internal and external audits, as well as customer and regulatory source inspections.Prepare, review, and approve First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation.Support production and assembly teams in resolving material nonconformance issues.Deliver and evaluate training for certified assemblers and test technicians.Investigate and support resolution of customer quality complaints.Provide documentation support related to regulatory compliance requirements.Assist with final inspection activities as requested. The Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree in engineering or a related field; or 2+ years of relevant experience/training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Prior Quality experience in an AS9100 environment is requiredStrong ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents, regulatory guidelines, and quality standards.Skilled in writing reports, procedures, and business correspondence.Confident in presenting information and answering questions from managers, clients, and customers.Strong mathematical abilities, including proficiency with proportions, percentages, geometry, and related calculations.Proficient with database tools, manufacturing software, project management platforms, spreadsheets, and word processing applications.Certified internal auditor or ability to obtain certification; authorization for PMA-related quality activities is a plus.What's on OfferBase salary $90,000 - $110,000 depending on experience level401k program with 3% employer match3 Weeks PTOComprehensive health benefits through BCBSEligibility for tuition assistanceContactCameron HeppelerQuote job refJN-022026-6959086
