This is across railway, automotive, and aerospace. Their cutting-edge solutions drive innovation and efficiency for manufacturers worldwide. Their site is in the Albany area and rapidly growing. My client is hiring across several different teams and expanding the business model in 2026. They are expected to have a record year and start to service customers internationally as well.Job DescriptionIn this role, the Electrical Engineer will:Design and document machine electrical systems to meet industry standards and customer-specific requirements.Create detailed electrical drawings and schematics using CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical preferred).Select components, define bills of materials, and maintain accurate data within the ERP system.Develop cost estimates and support projects to stay within budget and schedule.Research and incorporate new technologies to improve performance, manufacturability, and reliability.Conduct electrical testing, troubleshoot issues, and support in-house machine startup and sign-off.Participate in new product introductions and work closely with assembly and manufacturing teams.Provide technical support for service, maintenance, and field issues on installed equipment.Collaborate daily with controls, mechanical engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, and service teams.Travel occasionally (domestic and international) to support installations, testing, or customer needs.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
