With project values reaching up to $50M, the company is well known for its technical expertise, thoughtful preconstruction approach, and ability to execute complex projects in sensitive, occupied environments.Job DescriptionPrepare detailed quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and full bid packages across all major tradesDevelop conceptual, schematic, and design-development estimates based on incomplete or evolving design documentsLead subcontractor outreach, prequalification, bid leveling, and scope reviewsBuild and manage full project budgets, clarifications, and assumptionsSupport value engineering efforts and provide cost-saving alternatives to clients and design teamsCoordinate with architects, engineers, owner's representatives, and consultants during preconstructionReview drawings, specifications, addenda, and revisions to maintain accurate cost projectionsPrepare estimates for multifamily, adaptive reuse, historic renovation, and occupied rehab projectsDevelop detailed bid instructions and ensure subcontractors understand scope requirementsAttend site visits, pre-bid walkthroughs, and meetings with clients and design teamsMaintain historical cost data, subcontractor databases, and market pricing trendsSupport early logistics plans, phasing strategies, and site constraint analysis for occupied spacesCollaborate closely with Project Managers and leadership to transition estimates into active construction budgets MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
