We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized sheet metal helper to join our team. This position involves using hand tools to snip sheet metal, assisting sheet metal fabrication operation of specialized equipment, building custom pallets to ship product, assembly of product, and marking & staging of fabricated items. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Properly wear the required PPE for designated taskSafely operate power hand tools and stationary equipment such as angle grinders, miter saws, impact drill, etc..Ability to understand fabrication documents follow their instructionEnsure all items are correctly identified, labeled, and staged for the appropriate departments.Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth flow of fabricated products to support production needs.Inspect materials for quality and report any defects or issues.Keep work area clean and organized to ensure safety and efficiency.Perform other related duties as assigned.Qualifications: Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to lift and carry heavy items up to 50lbsMust be proficient in reading a tape measure to the nearest 1/16th of an inchBeing able to stand for long periods of timeStrong organizational and time management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficient in basic computer applications and operationEducation & Experience:High school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or fabrication role is preferred.Work Hours & Benefits: Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm(30min unpaid lunch) with potential for overtimeComplete insurance coverage including medical, dental, vision, and more401(k) with employer match(7) paid holidaysMultiple company-wide and departmental specific events yearlyAccrued PTO with the ability to earn 2 weeks paid time off in the first 12 months, with an additional week accrued in 24 months.
