Architectural Intern (Summer 2026)Position Summary:Three Rivers Design is seeking applicants for summer internships. Interns will work directly in the Design Group under the direction of licensed Architects and alongside other design personnel and possibly other departments within the company. About us:Three Rivers Corporation is a growing Michigan based company providing design/build and construction services specializing in healthcare, educational, commercial, industrial, petrochemical construction, and building maintenance services.Job DescriptionPerforms basic fundamental architectural work under the direct supervision of a licensed architect and alongside other design professionals. Site documentation including as-built measuring of existing buildings and photography Assists in preparing scale details/drawings of buildings and contract documents using computer design software. May attend meetings with clients and consulting engineers and assist in preparing notes. Generate details and plans in AutoCAD and/or REVIT Perform redline changes and revisions to electronic-based documents Organize and maintain project and group files, library information, etc. Model building and preparing renderings Digitizing existing plans and documentsAdditional Qualifications: Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Capable of taking initiative and able to take direction Ability to multi-task, establish priorities, maintain efficiency, and meet deadlines Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment Knowledge of most basic building systems (architectural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, structural). Recommended but not required - 3D modeling, presentation and design software (Photoshop, InDesign, Sketch Up)Job Type: Full-time (min 20 hours - max 40 hours) Monday-Friday; Hourly-based pay; in-person (Midland Office); May - August 2026 durationRequired education: High school diploma Actively working towards a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture.
