If you enjoy detail-oriented work, problem solving, and seeing your contributions reflected in finished structures, this is the place for you.SummaryThe Quality Control Technician I is responsible for conducting inspections, tests, and documentation in accordance with ATMI Precast's quality standards and PCI/ACI requirements. This position supports daily production activities by verifying dimensional accuracy, concrete quality, and overall product compliance.ResponsibilitiesPerform pre-pour and post-pour inspections to verify compliance with industry tolerances, both dimensional and aestheticTest fresh concrete for slump, air content, temperature, and unit weight in accordance with ACI standardsConduct concrete strength testing and maintain accurate records of all resultsComplete inspection and testing reports accurately and submit them in a timely mannerCommunicate inspection findings and recommendations clearly to supervisors and production teamsAssist in developing and implementing quality-related process improvementsMaintain clean and organized testing and inspection areasObtain and maintain ACI Level 1 Certification within established time framePerform other duties as assignedRequirements Ability to read blueprints and interpret construction documentsAbility to use and read a measuring tape accuratelyBasic math skills and attention to detailStrong communication skills and a professional attitudeReliable attendance and punctualityAbility to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasksFlexible start times as required by production schedulesEnvironment and Physical RequirementsAbility to lift and move objects up to 50 lbsAbility to climb stairs, ladders, and equipment as neededAbility to work in plant and outdoor conditions that may include heat, humidity, cold, dust, and inclement weatherStart time 3:00 a.m.; typically 40 + hours per weekSome Saturday work may be required
