Facilities Manager

We're looking for a Facilities Manager who will take ownership of our buildings, grounds, and building systems across multiple locations. This position combines hands‑on maintenance knowledge with leadership, project management, and vendor coordination. What You'll Do: * Oversee the daily operations, safety, and maintenance of our offices, homes, and program sites. * Develop and implement facility and maintenance policies that ensure safety, compliance, and high-quality standards. * Manage preventative and corrective maintenance for buildings, grounds, and systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.). * Lead and support facilities staff including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management. * Partner with contractors and service providers-solicit bids, manage contracts, monitor quality, and control costs. * Lead renovation and construction projects from planning through completion, including scope, timelines, and budgeting. * Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure timely follow‑up. * Maintain accurate records, schedules, and compliance documentation. * Support space planning and coordinate facility moves as needed What You Bring: * Bachelor's degree in facilities management or a related field, or equivalent experience. * 5+ years of progressive experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or related operations. * 2+ years of leadership experience overseeing staff, vendors, or contractors. * Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance operations. * Experience with project management, budgeting, and coordinating renovations or construction work. * Excellent communication skills and a customer‑service mindset; you collaborate well with others. * Certifications or hands‑on experience (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) are a plus. Additional Requirements: * Travel across Missouri to visit Easterseals Midwest locations; occasional overnight travel required. * Valid driver's license and proof of insurance. * Ability to complete and maintain required trainings and certifications. * Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
