This leadership position requires a deep understanding of ASC and OBS compliance, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to maintain the highest standards of ethical and legal conduct.Prior consulting experience in OBS or ASC, CASC experience a plus!RequirementsRole Responsibilities:Oversees risk assessments to identify potential compliance issuesDevelops and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks and strengthen the organization's compliance posturePartners with VP, Growth & Operations to create new policies and/or SOP'sOversees preparation of QUADA inspections and accreditations of new and/or existing clinicsActively performs in QUADA and state surveys as a company representativeOversees that the compliance manuals are kept current for assigned clinics in alignment with state and QUADA requirements to include but not limited to bibles, QA/QI, CEUOversees platforms such as SurgLogs and ScriptureDrives education and achievement of clinic department goals, objectives, and processes to include but not limited to training of tenured staff and new staffIdentifies and selects compliance training for employees at all levels and oversees the successfully deployment of these trainingsCollaborates with appropriate departments to ensure compliance is met at all times by established policies and proceduresConducts research and interprets statutes/regulations that require compliance across assigned clinicsMonitors changes in healthcare laws and regulations, guiding the organization to stay currentCollaborates with cross-functional teams, and legal, to address compliance issues and develop solutionsActs as a liaison between the legal department and attorneys to research, identify, and provide all information or document requests from attorneys relating to legal mattersActively assists in legal matters including but not limited to subpoenas, demand letters, an medical records requestsManages the preparation and submission of timely reports on compliance activities, incidents, and corrective actions to senior managementProactively escalates to the Director of Operations and/or VP, Growth & Operations any perceived obstacles, barriers, problems, or unusual circumstances for compliance measures and outcomesEducation & ExperienceBachelor's DegreeCertified ASC Administrator (CASC) preferredPrevious experience in healthcare, compliance or legal research is preferredStrong understanding of healthcare laws and regulations, including HIPAA, and othersStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsTravel RequirementsUp to 50% required to travel between out-of-state clinics
