This role provides technical leadership, mentors junior staff, conducts calculations and system analyses, evaluates equipment and system performance, and represents the firm in meetings requiring coordination across all design disciplines. The Senior Engineer ensures that project designs meet quality standards, client expectations, and engineering best practices.Plan and conduct complex engineering assignments requiring independent judgmentSupervise, coordinate, and review work of Engineers, Designers, and CAD OperatorsDevelop technical reports, studies, and system analysesEvaluate substitute equipment and review system adjustments after installationRepresent the firm in meetings and coordinate across all tradesPerform engineering designs, calculations, and evaluations with advanced techniquesMentor junior engineers and support project technical leadershipResponsibilities: Professional Engineering License (PE) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) preferredBachelor of Science degree or equivalentEight years of relevant project engineering experienceQualifications and Experience: Location: Rochester, New York or Buffalo, New YorkTravel: Up to 25%Compensation & Benefits: The expected base salary range for this role is $87,360 - $120,00 USD per year, hourly, non-exempt.
