Electrical Design Engineer Project Manager Company: Martarano EngineeringLocation: Wyomissing PASchedule: Hybrid Remote About the RoleWe are seeking an Electrical Engineer Project Manager to lead the design and management of building electrical systems across diverse sectors, including healthcare, municipal/public safety, institutional, residential, and retail/automotive projects. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, client relationship management, and team leadership. Candidates should have a strong background in building systems design, project management, and code compliance.What You'll DoLead electrical design for building power distribution, lighting, emergency power, and specialty systemsServe as the primary client contact, building and maintaining strong relationshipsOversee project scope, schedules, and budgets to ensure on-time, quality deliveryPrepare and review electrical construction documents (one-line diagrams, load calculations, lighting layouts, specifications)Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, fire protection engineers, architects, and consultantsConduct site visits for field verification, construction administration, and punch listsEnsure designs comply with NEC, NFPA, and local building codesMentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership and oversightAssist with proposals, RFP responses, and business development initiativesWhat You BringBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related fieldProfessional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred, or ability to obtain within 12 months6-15 years of electrical engineering experience in building systems designProven project management experience on multi-discipline projectsStrong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and building codesProficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; experience with lighting calculation software preferredExcellent communication, leadership, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, client-focused environmentWhy JoinThis role offers the opportunity to lead impactful projects that support communities, gain exposure to a wide range of sectors, and advance your career in a collaborative environment.
