Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer | Multi-family Residential and Commercial Buildings Client: Founded in 1987, our client is an award-winning NYC firm that evaluates building systems and designs, administers programs for repair, upgrade, restoration, and new construction for residential, commercial, retail, and institutional properties. The broad range of expertise includes exterior repair and roof replacement; facade inspection safety programs; mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; structural engineering; interior renovations; retail and commercial build-outs; building condition surveys; energy audits, and historic restoration. Description: Immediate need for an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer with experience in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Responsibilities: Design and specify HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems Develop design and technical solutions through all phases of a project from feasibility to construction documentation Review plans Prepare written reports and studies Interact with clients Administer MEP upgrade projects Prepare supporting graphics for project presentations Conduct site visits during construction Requirements: 5 + years of similar Mechanical Engineering experience, particularly in NYC NY State PE license preferred, with NYC residential experience 8 years of experience in residential and commercial projects Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to produce and manage a project from programming through design and construction administration in a team environment Mechanical Design of HVAC, etc. using AutoCAD Education: bachelor of architecture in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited school of engineering NY State PE license preferred To Apply: If you have the knowledge, skills, and experience for this role, please email your resume to .
