PLANOGRAM ANALYST

*** This position is located in Virginia Beach, VA with a Hybrid Work Schedule. No relocation assistance will be offered. ***Position Overview Responsible for developing, analyzing, and maintaining planograms that optimize product placement, shelf space utilization, and category performance. This role combines data analysis, merchandising strategy, and space planning to drive sales, improve customer experience, and ensure alignment with brand and category objectives.Essential Job FunctionsDevelop, update, and maintain planograms for assigned categories and store formatsAnalyze sales and space data to optimize shelf layoutsEnsure planogram compliance with merchandising standards, brand guidelines, and store constraintsPartner with clients and/or marketing team to create planogram proposalsSupport new product introductionsRespond to store feedback and operational challenges related to planogram executionAnalyze changes made to the planograms and inform stakeholders Maintain image library through extracting images from various resourcesAssist in the collection and labeling of live samples for use in live test setsAttend and assist with live test sets, acting as a company representative ensuring best in class merchandisingSkills and Competency RequirementsData-driven merchandising decision makingVisual and spatial reasoningCross-function collaborationStrong attention to detail & organizationStrong written and oral communication Ability to manage several projects simultaneously to completionQualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred2+ years of experience in planogramming, space planning or category analyticsExperience working with large-scale retail, CPG environments, or familiarity with consumer behavior and shopper insights a plusProficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word)Proficiency in planogram software (e.g., JDA/Blue Yonder Space Planning, Nielsen Spaceman, Apollo)
