Job Description

Duties: As a Legal Analyst you are responsible for all reports that are directed to you for the work that you are responsible for daily. As a Legal Analyst, you maintain the process of handling various UCC liens received by Intuit from government agencies and individual attorneys. You are also responsible for all legal items such as subpoenas, garnishments, restraining notices, and Q & A of informational subpoenas. You are responsible for the correct tracking, withholding, and remitting funds due to government agencies or judgement holders. You should maintain and document each account you work on and respond to the customer/levy officer and/or our legal team's correspondence. All customer/levy/legal responses should be documented via case in SFDC and IBOSS. You can place customer accounts on ban control to recover funds as well as place ach debits, further with that ability, you should ensure timely release of funds to either the levy officers, government agencies or our merchants and contribute to merchant satisfaction. Additionally, you will be expected to perform all other Risk Management activities such as closing customer accounts and collaborating with various departments to make the best decision possible. Respect all employees o Take ownership and learn from both successes and mistakes o Create a positive work environment o Give high value to new and creative approaches o Maintain 100% engagement through training, development, and WCGB activities o Work on a min of 1 special project per year Protect merchants and Intuit from losses. o Manage daily workload to ensure timely completion o Prioritize workload to ensure efficiency o Manage timely release of funds o Track all incoming work daily o Take payments and make payment arrangements Workload Management. o Monitor workload to completion ensure that all incoming work is done efficiently and accurately o Credit Card Payments should be posted when they are received, and cases noted accurately o Responses to third party agencies, legal counsel should be timely and recorded through the various systems (Legal QB and/or IBOSS/SF) Hybrid onsite role: 3 days each week Work shift: 7am - 6pm CT - preferrably coverage for the later shift to 6pm CT Skills: . Any work that is assigned directly from supervisor and/or manager in their absence • Misc. projects that are assigned Serve as a backup to the Imaging Department Tasks you take on solely and under the discretion of your management team • Teaching other departments and/or representative's new tools, reports, and/or formats Serve as back up for the agent assigned as your "back up buddy." All coordinator functions • Maintain up to date Bankruptcies • Ensure that all incoming mail is done and timely • Process all incoming levies • Work any small debt write off balances Education: EOE AA M/F/Vet/Disability.
