Shipping Associate

The Shipping Department works hard to accurately ship golf equipment and accessories to our customers in an expedited manner in order to help fulfill our mission of Best in Class service. The Shipping Associate will work within the shipping department to ensure our customers receive items quickly and fully intact. At 2nd Swing you will find: Vast Exposure to the Golf IndustryA Commitment to Total Well-BeingOpportunities to Discover Your Fit and Make an ImpactA Collaborative and Flexible EnvironmentKey Functions, Responsibilities and TasksAssist in the sorting of incoming packagesAssure orders and shipping quantities match picking documents through careful audit of documentsProcess complete orders by creating shipping labelsAssemble cardboard boxes or other packages for shipmentInsert items into boxes and packages using fillers and protective paddingAffix shipping labels on boxes or packages identifying shipping informationExamine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specificationsAssists in maintaining inventory of shipping materials and suppliesWork with shipping carriers to ensure all packages are picked up and loaded in vehicles for shipmentHelp with or complete special projects at the discretion of supervisor or managerMaintain shipping stations are in working order and stocked with materialsMay be required to drop off packages at carrier locationsMay direct others in preparing outgoing and receiving incoming shipmentsContribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as neededThis job description is only a summary of the typical functions of the job, not an exhaustive or comprehensive list of all possible job responsibilities, tasks, and duties.
