This position requires the operation of a forklift, and other tools as needed. They perform the required duties to quality and productivity standards. If you're looking for a place to grow, share your ideas, and make an impact, we'd love to have you on our team.RESPONSIBILITIES:Physically receives all incoming packages and ordersas well as prepares and ships outgoing packages.Verifies quantities ordered match quantities shipped on packing slips and note discrepancies, check shipments for damages.Operate the forklift and wrapping machine as neededDetermines labeling requirements for shipping containers including any special labels required by the customerPrepare documents and record receipts in a timely mannerMove materials from production to finished goods area, and from receiving dock to storage areasQUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: Forklift Certification: Preferred, forklift experience preferredInterpersonal Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skillsOrganizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills along with strong ability to multitaskLeadership Skills: Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to interact with customers and team members.Other Skills: Ability to work effectively with peers, management, and other departments.Technical Proficiency: Computer literacyWORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Warehouse Setting: The role is primarily based in the warehouse with loud noises and fluctuations in temperatureCommunication: Ability to communicate in EnglishMobility: Required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.Lifting: Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds continuously.EQUAL OPPORTUNITY STATEMENT: Finlays Solutions is an equal employment opportunity employer seeking diversity in qualified applicants for employment.
