Maintenance Assistant

Our Maintenance Assistant positively impacts our students by ensuring that campus common areas are clean, orderly and stocked. At the Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center, operated by Education & Training Resources (ETR), our mission is to help at-risk youth achieve their academic, career training and employment goals and become contributing community members.MAIN DUTIES:• Keep campus buildings and grounds clean and healthy in accordance with safety standards• Perform custodial duties, properly using cleaning products and equipment• Assist with routine building maintenance• Direct and mentor students assigned to MaintenanceCANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED, one year of custodial experience, and valid Minnesota driver's license with an acceptable driving recordWORK SCHEDULE: Full-time Monday through Friday during regular business hoursPAY AND BENEFITS: $20.42 per hour plus benefits, including 12 paid holidays, vacation and sick time, 401(k) with match, and medical, dental and vision insuranceEqual Opportunity Employer: Minority / Female / Disability / Veteran
