Posting DetailsPosition Information Position Title Assistant Director of Admission - Technology and Operations Job Responsibilities Truman State University seeks an innovative and detail-oriented Assistant Director of Admission for Technology and Operations to lead the strategic use of technology in support of student recruitment and admissions. This position serves as part of a team that oversees the University's customer relationship management system (Technolutions Slate) to ensure efficient operations and provide exceptional user experiences.As a key member of the Admission Leadership Team, the Assistant Director will manage the Technology and Operations team, collaborate with campus partners, and champion best practices in CRM use to advance Truman's enrollment goals.Manage daily operations of the Technolutions Slate CRM, envisioning ways to incorporate the use of appropriate processes as we strive to make powerful and timely connections with prospective students.Administer and maintain the Slate CRM environment, including user management and system configurations, in collaboration with the campus Slate Administrator.Design, build, and deploy portals, workflows, event templates, forms, rules, automations, queries, integrations, and reports to meet institutional objectives, in collaboration with the campus Slate Administrator and the Director of Advancement Services.Serve as a liaison to Information Technology Services, working with the campus Slate Administrator on any system design changes needed, as well as interfaces needed with external technology vendors and products.Implement CRM-based technology solutions, in concert with the campus Slate Administrator, that enhance recruitment and communication strategies.Train and support admission staff in the effective use of the CRM and any linked technology tools.Supervise the Technology and Operations teamand coordinate workload, projects, and priorities.Oversee Slate utilization for special programs, undergraduate, graduate, transfer, and international admissions.Collaborate with leadership on search, lead generation, and data management strategiesParticipate in professional development, conferences, and Slate community groups to stay current on best practices.Develop creative solutions for staffing, workflow, and evolving operational needs.Truman offers an attractive benefits package including: paid sick and vacation time; paid holidays; medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and retirement plan.
