Curricula taught in our schools include the English National Curriculum, International Baccalaureate, American Curriculum, Swiss Curriculum, French Curriculum and Shanghai National Curriculum.CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT SENIOR MANAGEMENTWORKPLACE: Miami (Hybrid)JOB PURPOSEYou will be responsible supporting NAE's growth strategy by providing full transaction support to the 3 major types of corporate development projects (Acquisition transactions, New build projects and Existing campus expansions), with a focus on acquisition projects.REPORTING- Reporting to: Head of Transaction Delivery & Integration (London).JOB RESPONSIBILITIESMarket Prioritization and Pipeline DevelopmentDevelop a sound working knowledge of the international schools market and of market participants, to allow market prioritisation. Drive and manage internal and external geographical markets and education sub-sectors analysisSupport the team in identifying potential acquisition and new build opportunities in line with the Corporate Development strategyDevelop and manage the acquisition pipeline through market visits and other initiativesAcquisitionsParticipate in the entire transaction process from sourcing/origination to transaction documentation and completion together with the Head of Transaction Delivery and Integration and the Heads of Corporate Development in regionsTake leading role in key aspects of transaction processes such as evaluation of opportunity, LOI, due diligence, and/or documentationBuild and manage relationships with School owners, investors and business partnersPrepare and evaluate complex financial models (analysis, forecast and valuation), including impact of acquisitions to Nord Anglia Education from financial and operational perspectivesPrepare investment cases to Nord Anglia Education's Executive Committees and Board for investment approvalsSupport Head of Integration on integration planning and executionManage project budgets and ensure cost effectivenessIntegration of AcquisitionsSupport the production of the integration and issues mitigation plans during acquisition, in close cooperation with the Heads of Corporate Development in regions, the Head of Transaction Delivery and Integration and with Regional teams and Central functionsEnsure that best practice and proven processes are followed from plans generation to executionEnsure all key elements of due diligence are included in the integration and remediation plans and adequate measures are in place and have been validated by the regions/central functions/Exco/Board depending on prioritiesPrepare progress reports of integration to Exco at regular intervalsNew BuildsSupport Head of Infrastructure Development on analysis of financial and operating data, and prepare financial models to support the business casesPrepare Board presentations for investment recommendationsStrategic StudiesSupport the Head of Transaction Delivery and Integration and the Corporate Development Director on managing internal and external strategic studies on growth strategy, market prioritization, and capital deployment prioritization for Nord Anglia Education.Design, plan and execute NAE's Corporate.Development Strategy with the ultimate objective of creating value for NAE's shareholdersPeople Management and LeadershipMaximise the contribution of all and create a positive team working environment in which project staff reports demonstrate commitment to high quality work and are able to achieve job satisfactionEnsure that any difficulties with individual performance effectiveness are proactively managed in a way that reflects Nord Anglia Education core vision and valuesEstablish and maintain a team within Corporate Development that can deliver acquisitions at the highest standardCliente Liason/ Customer SupportRepresent Corporate Development and Nord Anglia Education to liaise directly with sellers, investors, advisors, sponsors, and partners.Represent Nord Anglia Education at meetings, seminars, conferences and other events as required.REQUIREMENTSPersonal SpecificationsStrong academic background with a degree from a leading UniversityMBA or a Master's in finance, CFA, CPA or equivalent a plusExperience of various markets and culturesExperience working in a deal environment, preferably in (by order of preference) Corporate M&A, Private Equity, transaction team of a Big 4 accounting firm, Investment bank, management consultant with transaction experience from a top consulting firmOutstanding analytical, financial modelling and valuation skills, strong PowerPoint skillsHighly numerate with a sound understanding of what lays behind numbers and drive revenues and profitabilitySolid knowledge of financial accountingAbility to pay attentional to detail without compromising the big pictureAbility to work in teams, independently and under pressureAbility to summarize complex issuesAbility to think creatively when resolving complex issuesPersonal AttributesAs our team colleague, here's what we expect:Collaborate with EmpathyYou are a team player who shares your knowledge to help colleagues and students learn and grow.
