Indianapolis, IN Order: 2157846 Order Type : TempToFT We are seeking a Purchasing Agent to join our client's team in Indianapolis and ensure the seamless flow of materials and services for our operations. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for efficiency and supplier collaboration, this role is for you!Key Responsibilities:Issue, track, and compare pricing on all RFQs for raw materials and outside services.Generate and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.Perform quotes and place orders for MRO products to support manufacturing operations.Collaborate with Quality to resolve material or service-related issues.Order office and janitorial supplies to maintain smooth daily operations.Conduct market research to identify and evaluate potential suppliers.Source, negotiate, and establish supplier contracts to secure favorable pricing and delivery terms.Coordinate and monitor test and trial processes for manufacturing needs, such as cutting tools, coolants, and specialized equipment.Build and maintain positive, long-term relationships with suppliers.Ideal Candidate Qualifications:3+ years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.Must be a U.S. Citizen.Exceptional oral and written communication skills.Strong research, analytical, organizational, and documentation abilities.Proven work history with outstanding attendance.Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with the MS Office Suite.If you meet these requirements, apply or call 317-887-0747 today!
