As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you will have the opportunity to work in one of our many in-park Food and Beverage locations throughout the park. Working as a Food & Beverage Cashier is the perfect way to gain valuable customer service, food preparation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.We are currently looking for a:Splish Splash Food & Beverage CashierRoles & Responsibilities:Greet guests in a fun and inviting manner!Smile and communicate with coworkers and guests to ensure exceptional customer serviceAssist guests by quickly and politely answering their questionsPrepare food following proper procedure and safety guidelinesConduct POS transactions while ensuring all procedures are followed - including credit and refund transactions.Ensure that all PCI and park guidelines are being followed for all financial transactions.Replenish condiments, beverages, and food supplies while maintaining a clean work area.Maintain compliance with company and industry best practices, policies, and procedures to create a safe environment for colleagues and guests.Monitor product quality and communicate shrinkage/waste to the lead and/or supervisor.Assist in other areas of the park to ensure guest satisfaction, if neededAll other duties assigned by leadershipPay Rate: $17.50 / hr.Education and Experience:No education requirements for this rolePrevious work experience is not requiredLanguage: Ability to read, write, and speak fluent EnglishSpanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.Requirements: Must be at least 14 years of age to comply with NY State Child Labor LawsAbility to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysMust have reliable transportation to and from your scheduled shiftAbility to comply with all uniform policiesMust possess safety-oriented mindset and understand the importance of complying with all state, and local food preparation and serving regulationsMust possess exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional mannerAbility to positively engage with guests to promote sales and customer satisfactionAbility to follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a team as well as independentlyPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for majority of the workdayAbility to occasionally stoop, twist, kneel, bend, squat, or reach above shouldersAbility to withstand heat and humidity from the food preparation equipmentAbility to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 30 pounds or moreWorking Conditions:This role will be based in one or more food stall and/or restaurant locations throughout the park, with exposure to both indoor and outdoor environmentsFrequent exposure to the variable outside temperatures, including high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain and other weather conditionsSubject to constant repetitive motion, high noise levels, and heavily populated environmentsTeam member benefits:Working at Splish Splash is about making people happy!
