Quality Engineer

Responsibilitiesarrow_right * Acts as the product / process / team level QA/QS representative and point of contact for all QA/QS activities and responsibilities * Evaluate, analyze and audit submitted/observed actions and items for QS compliance. * Standardize QA department procedures and work instructions for process and plant QA operations. * Evaluate and audit inspection techniques and frequencies for affected in/out of process production. * Maintain short term and long term process capability documentation used in process/product manufacturing and QA operations * Maintain and standardize QA/QS metrics and reporting for process/product performance to plant. * Maintain electronic CAR/NCMR notification system from process/product to plant QA for analysis, tracking and reporting. Issue CAR's/NCMR's as required. * Audit of CAR / NCMR protocol and response of/from CAR Teams. * Monitor supplier/vendor performance affecting process / product through Quality Manager * Act as FNST QA agent (voice of the customer) for internal and external customers. * Utilize quality tools to improve QA/QS performance at the process / product / plant level. * Maintain electronic customer files, tracking and reporting * QA/QS representative to Product Launch Team for QA related responsibilities, including APQP, PPP and PPAP. * Coordinate inspection criteria / methodology with Receiving Inspection towards affected product / process / customer. * Performa all duties as assigned or required. * Travel as required.
