We help brands Decode Culture to Activate Fandoms on social media.Senior Social Content Creators at The Social Lights are a unique blend of concept generator + creative maker. They are social-first thinkers passionate about creating content that gets talked about and drives audience engagement and growth across social platforms. This role is responsible for planning and producing social media content and campaigns that align with our client's business objectives. This includes working across internal teams to develop creative briefs, shot lists, prop lists, production plans and creative review decks; and leading photo and video shoots ensuring delivery of assets on-time and on budget. Beyond planning and connecting an idea, this particular role requires a focus on digital design and content production for social-first channels like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and more. Key ResponsibilitiesContent CreationBring ideas to life, nurturing them from thoughts and concepts to real-world expressions including storyboarding, shooting, direction, editing, and/or managing external production vendors and partnersShoot and edit visually stimulating, breakthrough and memorable content using a variety of media, including video, stills, animation, 3D, audio and stock assetsEnsure full delivery of assets on-timeEstablish a high standard of excellence for every piece of content produced, paying close attention to all the details while continually improving the processContent PlanningCo-lead content planning for key clients, supporting priority accounts across the agency with guidance and oversight from Client Success and Content Producer(s)Provide platform-specific content recommendations that leverage cultural trends, platform trends or resonant consumer insightsActively identify trends in the industry in an effort to help our clients innovate and elevate above the competitionShare content creation best practices with the team, adapting and learning new social mediums (TikTok, Reels, Stories, etc.)Content IdeationConceptualize breakthrough ideas that align with the overarching social strategy and help our clients achieve their objectives, ultimately driving their business forwardBuild and implement processes and best practices for content creation, ensuring all content embodies the brand voice + tone and follows brand and platform guidelinesInterpret creative briefs or real-time opportunities to develop creative concepts based on insights, trends, and business objectivesWork alongside multi-disciplinary TSL teams to concept, develop, and execute social-first ideasPresent social-first ideas in a compelling and inspiring manner, anticipating questions that may arise and being fully prepared with thoughts that go well beyond what is written on a slideEffectively present ideas to internal teams and clients, anticipating questions that may arise and problem-solving in real-time as neededSkills, Knowledge and ExpertiseBachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Film/Video Production, or related field5+ years experience in concepting, with a focus on social mediaWorking knowledge and proficiency with video/photography equipment and editing toolsQuick to solve problems, improvise or propose solutions to barriers that may arise A collaborative mindset with attention to detail and follow-throughA willingness to jump into new challenges to learn and growStellar writing, editing and proofreading skills Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization skills Agency experience a plus Proficient in MS Office software and G Suite toolsProficient in Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) Experience with Apple (Keynote, Pages, Numbers) Experience with drones, volumetric content capture, VFX, A.I., and/or 3D a plus *This job description is not designed to cover or encompass a comprehensive listing of required activities, duties, or responsibilities.
