Anodizing Trainee- 3rd Shift

Job DescriptionDEPARTMENT: AnodizingJOB TITLE: Anodizing TraineeREPORTS TO: Anodizing SupervisorSHIFT DAYS /HOURS: 3rd shifts are (Sun night to Thurs night) 9:00 pm- 5:00 am. Must be willing and able to work Mandatory OT on off days as necessary.STARTING PAY: $19.82 per hour + $0.50 Shift Premium This entry-level position works in the Anodizing Department and is responsible for affixing aluminum pieces of difference sizes to onto titanium metal anodizing racks.What You Will Be Responsible For:Examines articles for defects and sorts articles according to extent of defect.Rackers work side by side on a line, with no more than an arm's length between them.Frequently lift and carry boxes of parts weighing no more than 30 pounds.Differentiate between different sizes, shapes and styles of pieces.Comply with safety policies and procedures.Wear required personal protective equipment.Accepts feedback from the Team Leader to ensure the loads are up to safety standards.Complete special projects and other duties as assigned. Work Environment / Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and always without air conditioning.
