Description & Requirements Senior Credentialing Specialist Arizona Kidney Disease & Hypertension Centers (AKDHC) is seeking an experienced Senior Credentialing Specialist to join our growing healthcare team. In this role, you will lead provider credentialing, recredentialing, and enrollment processes for physicians and advanced practice providers, ensuring timely approvals, regulatory compliance, and seamless participation across health plans, hospitals, and dialysis facilities in a fast-paced medical group environment. AKDHC is one of the nation's largest physician-owned nephrology practices, serving patients with Chronic Kidney Disease throughout the Phoenix Metropolitan area since 1976. Required Qualifications/Skills for a Senior Credentialing Specialist: Minimum 4+ years of healthcare credentialing experience, including direct health plan credentialing and enrollmentAssociate degree preferred or equivalent experience in healthcare administration or medical practice operationsProficiency in Modio, CAQH, Microsoft Office, and credentialing systems, with advanced data management skillsExcellent communication and organizational abilities, with capacity to manage multiple deadlines in a high-volume environmentSenior Credentialing Specialist Responsibilities Manage provider credentialing, recredentialing, and payer enrollment for physicians and advanced practice providersPrepare, submit, and track applications with health plans, hospitals, and dialysis centers, ensuring timely approvalsMaintain accurate provider data in Modio, CAQH, and credentialing databases, including attestations and documentationMonitor application status, follow up with payers, and ensure compliance with credentialing regulations and standardsTrack and maintain licensure, certifications, and expirations, supporting audits, reporting, and process improvementsTake the Next Step in Your Healthcare Career Join a respected healthcare organization where your expertise in provider credentialing and medical staff operations directly supports patient access and clinical excellence.
