Accrued time is available to use immediately!Pay: $26.75 - $32.75/hrPositionAs a Painter Lead, you will spray the surface of manufactured products, or working area with protective coatings such as paint, primer, enamel, and polyurethane according to standard work instructions.Responsibilities:Schedule and organize work departments dailyProvide direction and schedule production team members' daily activitiesFrequently monitor and report on work progress of the teamCommunicate with all departments, logistics, engineering, and production management, including other shifts, about needs, priorities, and issuesPromote flow and pull of products and information to internal and ultimately external customersIdentify, investigate, and address problems on the production floorCoach, mentor, and develop team members by investigating root causes of scrap and RMA issuesWork with production and quality teams to prevent recurrenceTrain and orient new employees on company standards and proceduresImplement 5S tools and reduce variation in the work environmentIdentify and lead continuous improvement activitiesEnsure company goals and objectives are being met by each employee and provide constructive feedbackAdjust and spray required parts/monuments and coupons to specificationsCheck the finished part/monument to ensure that it meets the specificationsSelect the required part/monument to be paintedMix selected coating liquid to per the job traveler and drawing requirementsFill the paint liner/cup with the desired materialPreferred Qualifications:Ability to read instructions and follow demonstrated stepsExperience using paint tools is a plusStrong technical knowledge in manufacturing and the assigned area or department• Communicate clearly, professionally, and proactively.
