You'll serve as a trusted advisor to clients while guiding internal teams toward consistent, high-quality outcomes.Key responsibilities include:Leading and managing complex geotechnical engineering projects from planning through constructionPerforming advanced engineering analyses, including:Soil and rock classificationShallow and deep foundation design and capacitySettlement analysis (immediate and consolidation)Slope stability and seismic hazard evaluations (liquefaction, lateral spreading)Earth retention systemsPreparing geotechnical engineering reports, construction specifications, and drawingsCollaborating with multidisciplinary internal and external teamsProviding construction-phase support and oversightActively participating in marketing and business development effortsTraining, mentoring, and developing engineering staffWhat We're Looking For15+ years of geotechnical engineering experienceBachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (Master's preferred)Professional Engineer (PE) license in Washington StateStrong project management and client relationship skillsProven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire teamsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesExperience with geotechnical software such as L-Pile, SHAFT, gINT, GRL WEAP, Slide, Settle 3D, or similar toolsComfortable working independently and collaborativelyCompensation & Work EnvironmentSalary range: $130,000 - $175,000, depending on experience and qualificationsFull-time, Monday-FridayPrimarily in-person, with a mix of office and field workComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement plan with employer match, and generous paid time offInterested?If you're excited by the idea of stepping into a role where your expertise, leadership, and vision truly matter, we'd love to connect.
