Moody Engineering is seeking an experienced, growth-minded Roadway Design Engineer for our fast-growing roadway team in Columbus, Ohio. We offer flexible hours with remote work flexibility and exceptional benefits!Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Project management planning, monitoring, and implementationLead roadway business development and client interfaceLead proposal preparation, including development of scope, schedule, and fee negotiationAbility to manage multiple project teams and work with our Columbus and Cleveland offices. Lead technical review, QA/QC, and technical mentoring programLead engineering design for roadway or site development projectsPerform roadway grading and drainage, utility design, parking lot design, storm sewer design, and storm water management calculationsProvide advice and creativity resolve any potential problems/deficiencies quicklyTake the project from due diligence through constructionCoordinate the execution of projects with our staff, our clients, and our project team membersIdeal Candidate Skills Include:5+ years of experience working leading Transportation Projects5+ years of experience working with Bentley/Microstation/Open Roads5+ years of experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Infrastructure Suite5+ years of experience working on State, County, and City Transportation ProjectsPE is preferred Experience with roadway documents and permitting preferred with the City of Columbus/Cleveland.Experience working with ODOT Districts 5, 6, 7, 8, and 12Experience working with Cuyahoga and Franklin CountyAbility to win transportation work and deliver exceptional results to clientsStrong analytical and communication skillsExceptional organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to lead a multi-disciplinary team with minimal oversight Educational Qualifications:BSCE from an ABET accredited College or University requiredOur employees come first!
