Your role will be to ensure our products maintain the highest level of quality our customers expect. At Associated Materials, we believe excellent results begin with you!Operate equipment and tools to cut, process, and assemble window componentsUse material handling equipmentPack and label finished goodsInspect windows and equipment and communicate any issuesKeep a clean, well-maintained workspace and complete housekeeping in your areaMaintain all safety standardsOther duties as assigned, including housekeeping and cross-training to become proficient across multiple positions and production lines.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentExperience in an assembly-line or manufacturing environment preferred but not requiredPerform tasks in a fast-paced environmentAbility to read and comprehend English languageAbility to use hand tools such as snips or chiselMust be able to use, understand, and thoroughly read a tape measureBe dependable and on-time with attendanceBe flexible and willing to learn, including cross-training and developing in other areas in the plantWork well with others on the teamPhysical Requirements:Physical demands may include standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, climbing, pushing/pulling, forward bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching, squatting, crawling, postural balancing, manipulating, trunk rotation, handling, gripping, and talking (hearing).Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided and is required to be worn daily.Additional informationAssociated Materials is a leader in exterior building products for residential and commercial remodeling and new construction markets.
