Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring for a notable global animal health organization known for advancing innovative bioscience and biodevice technologies. We are seeking a **Scientist** to join the **Bioscience Process and Validation team** on an **8-month contract** . This role will support the development and validation of innovative biodevice products, helping ensure successful product launches through scientific testing, biological analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. This opportunity is ideal for a scientist who enjoys working in a **dynamic, collaborative environment** and contributing to both laboratory and field-based product evaluation. **Compensation** **BS Degree:** $36.00 - $40.00 per hour **MS Degree:** $41.00 - $46.00 per hour **Contract Duration:** 8 months (gap coverage) **Key Responsibilities** - Support **product development and validation activities** for novel biodevice products, ensuring a strong understanding of biological interactions and device safety. - Collaborate with **engineering, technical service, and field service teams** to evaluate design requirements, specifications, and testing strategies. - Conduct **laboratory and field-based testing** , including evaluations at customer test sites to collect real-world performance data. - Design and execute **scientific experiments** , applying bioprocess development principles and statistical analysis methods. - Contribute technical expertise toward the development of **new hypotheses, testing strategies, and process improvements** supporting biodevice innovation. - Manage multiple projects and assignments in a **fast-paced, matrixed environment** . - Communicate effectively with internal teams and external collaborators to support project timelines and project success. - Develop and execute **testing protocols for biodevice characterization and validation** , ensuring documentation aligns with **GLP/GCP standards** . - Participate in **hands-on field work** , including testing prototypes, conducting biological analyses, and traveling to customer sites when required. **Qualifications** - **Bachelor's or Master's degree** in Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Animal Science, or a related scientific discipline. - **Minimum of 5 years of experience** in animal research or a relevant laboratory science environment. - Experience working in **cross-functional or matrixed teams** while managing multiple projects. - Hands-on experience with **animal handling and specialized laboratory equipment** . - Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop and implement testing protocols. - Experience working in **GLP/GCP regulated environments** is preferred. **Additional Requirements** - Willingness to travel for field testing and customer site visits when required. - **Valid driver's license required** , as the role may involve driving a company vehicle.
