Civil Project Engineer Job Description We are seeking motivated and experienced Civil Project Engineers specializing in Land Development to join our team. These positions offer a 'Smart Hybrid' work environment, allowing for remote work with occasional commutes to office locations for team events, client meetings, and cultural activities. Offices are located in West Chester, Pennsylvania; Bellevue, WA; Naperville, IL; Puyallup, WA; Long Beach, CA; Ontario, CA; Phoenix, AZ; Tampa, FL; and Duluth, GA. Responsibilities + Prepare construction plans, feasibility reports, cost estimates, and drainage reports with minimal supervision. + Coordinate with review agencies, clients, and sub-consultants for permit applications. + Develop grading plans, profiles, road design, and details using AutoCAD Civil 3D. + Research regulatory requirements and design standards. + Perform detailed calculations for stormwater facilities, utility systems, and roadway improvements. + Collaborate with drafters, designers, and administrative staff to complete projects on time and within budget. + Prepare site development plans for various residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use projects. + Update and manage spreadsheets, task lists, memos, and materials related to internal programs. + Support internal project administration by organizing billing reports, preparing contracts, and following up on invoices. + Participate in meetings to review project updates and take meeting notes as necessary. + Handle additional duties as assigned. Essential Skills + Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a four-year college or university. + At least 5 years of experience in civil engineering within an engineering or construction firm specializing in Land Development/Site Development. + Over 5 years of site development design experience. + Proven ability to interact with and manage clients. + Proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D, including grading tools and creation of alignments, profiles, corridors, and surfaces. + Professional Engineer (PE) license. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Project management skills. + Experience in stormwater, drainage, and grading. + Understanding of civil design, site plan, and site design. + EIT certification is a plus.
